Ginkgo – History

GINKGO-AI was founded in 2020 by two technologists with a shared belief: AI should serve complex human decision-making—not replace it.

Dr. Charles Brown brought a background in systems engineering and real-world deployment, while Charles Howard specialized in building scalable, intelligent machine learning systems. Their paths converged with one common goal—to make AI work for the people and industries that need it most.

In 2024, they combined their expertise to launch a secure, domain-specific AI platform based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)—purpose-built for regulated sectors like healthcare, finance, law, and government.

What started as a shared vision has grown into a mission-driven company helping organizations make smarter, faster, and more accountable decisions with AI they can trust.
