Job Summary

We are seeking a Documentation Specialist to create, maintain, and manage technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for our AI-driven products and services. This role is critical in ensuring that internal teams, clients, and stakeholders have clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation for effective AI deployment, usage, and troubleshooting.

The Documentation Specialist will work closely with AI developers, technical leaders, trainers, and customer support teams to translate complex technical concepts into concise, accessible, and user-friendly documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, API guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Create step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs for AI-powered applications.
  • Work with AI engineers and developers to document system architectures, workflows, and integration processes.
  • Assist in writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance documentation, and regulatory reports.
  • Collaborate with AI trainers to develop training materials, tutorials, and e-learning content.
  • Organize and maintain internal documentation repositories for technical teams.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Regularly update documentation to reflect product enhancements, new features, and system updates.
  • Gather feedback from users, developers, and stakeholders to improve documentation effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or content development.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, DITA, LaTeX, or Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Familiarity with AI, NLP, machine learning, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and content management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience documenting Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare IT systems.
  • Knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, and cloud-based AI deployments.
  • Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Familiarity with data security, HIPAA compliance, and AI governance documentation.
